Dress Code
We are requesting that guests attend in cocktail attire. For the men, this includes a suit and tie or a blazer with a nice pair of trousers. For the ladies, this can include knee-length to midi-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and your choice of heels or dressy flats.
Please avoid wearing jeans, shorts, athletic wear, flip-flops, casual sneakers, t-shirts, and baseball caps. We also kindly ask that you avoid wearing dark, emerald green shades as this is reserved for the wedding party.
Planning for the Weather
Our ceremony is currently set to be outdoors in the garden of the venue. While this will be the only outdoor event of the day, please note that mid-October weather in southern Wisconsin can range from sunny and 70° to cloudy and 40°. As the time grows closer, we will have a better gauge of what type of weather we will be working with.
In the meantime, we kindly ask that guests prepare by bringing a wrap or a jacket in the case of cooler temperatures. In the case of extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, freezing temperatures, etc), our ceremony will be moved to the indoor cocktail hall of the venue.
